Week 6 Friday Injury Report: Hurts and Lamar Out, Breece and Love Sit, and 8 Situations to Watch

Tyler Redshaw

Friday's final Week 6 injury reports are in, and they changed a lot. Two starting QBs (Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson) are out, along with Baker Mayfield, and three lead running backs (Breece Hall, Jeremiyah Love and David Montgomery) won't play either. Below are the eight situations that matter most for Sunday and Monday DFS, plus who benefits. Each proj is our dfs-stack.ai mean projection for the main slate. Where our projections haven't caught up to the news yet, we say so and skip the projection.

Full board: Week 6 projections.

1. Eagles: Hurts OUT, Tanner McKee starts; Saquon hasn't practiced

The Eagles ruled out Jalen Hurts for Sunday against Carolina, and Tanner McKee will start. Cole Payton and the newly signed Joe Milton are behind him. Saquon Barkley (hamstring) missed practice all week and is questionable. DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (hamstring) both practiced Friday and are questionable.

  • Our Eagles projections still had Hurts in the lineup when we pulled them, so we aren't citing Philadelphia numbers here. Check the projections page again after the update.
  • If Saquon sits, the Eagles go into a home game with a backup QB and without their lead back. Lower your expectations for the whole offense until the inactives come out.

2. Ravens: Lamar OUT, Tyler Huntley starts again at Cleveland

Lamar Jackson (ankle) is out, and Tyler Huntley makes his second straight start. Our projections already account for this. Huntley is 15.4 proj at $4,700, and he played 100% of snaps last week, when he scored 24.0 DK points against Atlanta (201 pass yards, 2 pass TDs, 1 rush TD). Derrick Henry (15.6 proj, $8,200) still drives this offense. He has a 54% rush share, 69% of Baltimore's rushing TDs, and 24 carries last week.

3. Jets: Breece Hall OUT again, Braelon Allen leads

The Jets ruled out Breece Hall (quad) and WR Adonai Mitchell (finger) for Sunday against the Patriots. Braelon Allen took over last week when Hall was out: 86% of snaps (60% across the season), 24 carries, 116 yards and a TD for 21.6 DK points. Note: our Jets projections still include Hall, so we aren't citing a Jets projection until they update.

Lead back with Hall out. 86% of snaps and 24 carries in Week 5.

4. Cardinals: Jeremiyah Love OUT vs. the Rams

Arizona ruled out Jeremiyah Love (ankle). Coach Mike LaFleur says IR isn't being discussed. Tyler Allgeier is next in line. He has a 51.6% snap share and a 31% rush share this season, though he played only 44% of snaps in Week 5. Our Arizona projections still have Love active, so we're leaving out Cardinals numbers for now. Trey McBride should be the steadiest option in this offense.

5. Buccaneers: Mayfield OUT again; Sean Tucker a game-time call

Todd Bowles ruled out Baker Mayfield for Sunday against Pittsburgh, and RB Sean Tucker (quad) is a game-time decision. Jalon Daniels is Tampa Bay's QB in our projections at 14.1 proj and $4,800. Bucky Irving (13.4 proj, $6,200) is the player to build around. He ran 21 times for 165 yards in Week 5 (34.5 DK points) and has a 44% rush share and a 12% target share.

13.4 proj. 165 rush yards in Week 5.

6. Patriots: TreVeyon Henderson questionable

TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) practiced Friday and is questionable, along with A.J. Brown, for Sunday against the Jets. If Henderson sits or is limited, Rhamondre Stevenson (11.2 proj, $6,000) benefits most. He played 71% of snaps in Week 5 (62% for the season), has a 12.8% target share, and has scored a rushing TD in each of the last two games.

11.2 proj. 71% of snaps in Week 5.

7. Bills: DJ Moore (shoulder) questionable after DNPs

DJ Moore didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday because of his shoulder and is listed as questionable for Buffalo at Las Vegas. Josh Palmer (shoulder) is also questionable. Keon Coleman (7.1 proj, $4,900) would get more work if Moore sits. He played 70% of snaps last week and has a 13.8% target share.

8. Texans (London): Montgomery and Tank Dell OUT

Houston ruled out David Montgomery (groin) and Tank Dell (knee) for Sunday's London game against Jacksonville, and Woody Marks starts at RB. Our Houston projections still include Montgomery and Dell, so we aren't citing numbers yet. This matters most for the HOU-JAX Showdown.
